Buying as a Norwegian business customer Simple and convenient
As a VAT-registered business in Norway you have not had to prepay import VAT at customs since 2017. Buying from us is as simple as buying from a Norwegian company.
You choose between two options: collecting the goods and clearing customs yourself, which is simple and inexpensive, or direct delivery, where a freight company handles customs and brings the goods to you.
Option 1
Collect and clear customs yourself
Place your order with one of our sales staff and agree a time to collect. A forwarding fee of 450 SEK is added. Until the day you collect, there is nothing for you to do.
Collect the goods from us
Collect them at Hålvägen 1 in Charlottenberg and tell us which border crossing you will use on the way back to Norway. The crossing must be staffed.
We send the commercial invoice to Maersk
The forwarding agent Maersk at the border prepares the paperwork, so you can drive the goods across without delay. We give you a copy of the commercial invoice.
Visit Maersk's office at the border
Show the commercial invoice and receive a customs declaration. It is reported electronically to Swedish Customs and Norwegian Tolletaten at the same time.
Visit the Swedish Customs office
Show the original customs declaration and have it stamped. Customs clearance is then complete, and the documents go to Altinn for VAT reporting automatically. Keep all the paperwork for your accounts department or accountant.
The border crossing at Eda and Charlottenberg
The map shows where to park and where Maersk and Swedish Customs have their offices. The crossing is about 9 km from us and is only an example. You can use any staffed customs station.

Option 2
Direct delivery
The whole process (customs clearance and delivery) is handled by the freight company. The price for direct delivery varies depending on your order – talk to your sales representative.
Even with direct delivery, documents are automatically sent for VAT reporting (Altinn).
