Koppom Maskin

En Timberjack i demonteringshallen

Dismantler

Full-time in Charlottenberg, permanent employment after a probationary period.

About the role

Does working with forestry machines in a growing company sound like fun? Koppom Maskin has bought and sold forestry machines and spare parts for more than 50 years, and thanks in part to our dismantling operation we hold one of the world's largest stocks of forestry machine parts and accessories. Now our dismantling team needs reinforcement. Are you our new dismantler?

As a dismantler you work in our newly built dismantling workshop, taking apart forestry machines of many kinds. The dismantled parts are sold as spare parts, so the work has to be careful, safe and precise.

The work is varied, with many forestry machine brands and models. As a dismantler you take the first step in quality-assuring the parts: you wash and label them before they move on to the next stage. The work also means keeping things in order and making sure the workplace is functional, safe and meets our health, safety and environmental requirements.

You work both independently and with others. There are always two people on the same machine, so cooperation and communication are an important part of the job.

Responsibilities

You dismantle forestry machines carefully, safely and methodically. You wash and clean the dismantled parts, check their condition for damage or faults, and label them clearly and systematically.

You keep the workplace and the dismantled parts tidy and organised, and work with your colleagues so that the job runs efficiently and safely.

Who we are looking for

To enjoy the role we think you are tidy and thorough and understand why every part has to be handled with care.

You have a strong work ethic and take responsibility for getting the job done. You are practical and like working with your hands, and you have an eye for detail and notice when something does not look or work the way it should.

You can work independently and take initiative, while being a team player who enjoys working with others. You are solution-oriented and not afraid to take on different kinds of tasks.

Requirements. You have experience of dismantling or mechanic work, or a similar role, speak good Swedish and live within commuting distance of Charlottenberg.

Nice to have. Experience of forestry, construction or agricultural machines or other large machinery, and a forklift licence, an overhead crane licence or other relevant certificates.

What we offer

The position is permanent and full-time after a six-month probationary period, with fixed working hours on weekdays, 07:00–16:00. You get an annual wellness allowance and favourable health insurance, and you work in newly built premises.

Here you grow alongside around 50 friendly colleagues.
