When you purchase a forestry machine from Koppom Maskin, you have a wide range of options for customizing the forwarders and harvesters available for sale.
Ways to customize your machine

Grapple
Choose a different grapple than the one fitted, for example one of our own XL Grapple models.
Harvester head
Choose a different head – used from stock, or new from Log Max.
Tyres and rims
A large range of rims and new Tianli tyres, plus a wide selection of used ones.
Widening
Adjust the machine's width for easier transport, or to suit the terrain you'll be working in.
Frame and paint
We lengthen frames, replace bunks, and re-paint the frame or body panels.

New tracks from XL Traction, or a wide selection of used ones across many brands.
Common customizations and add-ons in detail
When you buy a forwarder from Koppom Maskin, you can always choose a different grapple than the one fitted. Our range includes new grapples from our own brand XL Grapple, among others. Used grapples are sometimes available in stock as well.
When you buy a harvester from Koppom Maskin, you can always choose a different harvester head than the one fitted. We always keep used harvester heads in stock, but we're also a dealer for Log Max harvester heads.
Changing tyres and rims is a common customization. Our large range of rims lets you adjust the machine's width. You can also choose new tyres from, among others, Tianli, as well as a wide selection of used tyres (and rims).
Many of our customers choose to have the machine's width adjusted – sometimes to make transport easier, and in other cases to optimize the machine for the terrain where it will be used. The machine's width can be adjusted in several ways, for example by changing the rims or the bunks.
Our mechanics can customize the machine's frame length (for example, for soil preparation), replace the bunks, or make other major modifications based on your own ideas and requirements. Talk to us about what you need, and we'll help you move forward.
Does the paint on the forestry machine look a bit worn? We can arrange for re-painting of the frame or body parts on the machine you choose to purchase.
You can choose additional accessories such as tracks and chains. Our range includes new tracks from XL Traction, but also a large range of used tracks and chains from a variety of brands.
